CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-003
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO MARATHON
FUEL SERVICE TO PROVIDE PETROLEUM PRODUCTS TO THE
CITY ON AN AS REQUIRED BASIS
WHEREAS, a request for bids to supply various petroleum
products to the city during Calendar Year 1991 was properly
advertised in November, 1990: and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received in response to the request
for bids; and
WHEREAS, the bid received is both responsive and reasonable:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The city Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Marathon Fuel Service in an amount not to exceed
$121,642.39 to provide petroleum products to the city of Seward on
an as required basis during Calendar Year 1991.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 14th day of January, 1991.
