CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-006
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROVING AN ASSIGNMENT OF
CONTRACT FROM DRYDEN AND LARUE TO Y & A GROUP, INC.
WHEREAS, the city has a contract with Dryden & LaRue to design
the 115 KV Transmission Line: and
WHEREAS, the contract stipulates that the contractor may not
assign or delegate the agreement without the written consent of the
contracting officer: and
WHEREAS, Dryden & LaRue has entered into an agreement with Y
& A Group, Inc., to sell its assets and to assign its contracts for
engineering services to Y & A Group, Inc.: and
WHEREAS, under the terms of the agreement referenced in the
paragraph above, the city of Seward contract will continue to be
supervised by Delbert LaRue, dba Dryden & LaRue, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to approve the assign-
ment of the contract:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute the
ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACT between Dryden & LaRue, Inc., and Y & A
Group, Inc., a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein by
reference.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the city Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 14th day of January, 1991.
