CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING SALES TAX
CONTRIBUTIONS TO SEWARD GENERAL HOSPITAL
WHEREAS, the Seward City Council enacted Ordinance No. 507 on
March 8, 1982, adopting a one percent sales tax: and
WHEREAS, revenues from the sales tax are available as a part
of the city's general revenues to assist Seward General Hospital:
and
WHEREAS, the Administrator of Seward General Hospital has
requested that the Seward City Council contribute to the hospital
the full one percent sales tax collected by the city: and
WHEREAS, this contribution will be used for hospital opera-
tions as authorized in the hospital's FY 1991 budget: and
WHEREAS, the sales tax has been collected and reconciled for
the second quarter of Fiscal Year 1991:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of Forty Nine Thousand, Four Hundred
Seventy Two Dollars and Five Cents ($49,472.05) for the Second
Quarter of Fiscal Year 1991 is hereby appropriated from the Sales
Tax Revenue Account No. 101-0000-4120-0100 to the General Govern-
ment Service Account No. 101-1185-5610.
section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 11th day of March, 1991.
