CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
TWO EVINRUDE OUTBOARD ENGINES
WHEREAS, the city received $13,000 from Exxon to replace the
outboard engines on the city's 25-ft. whaler: and
WHEREAS, in accordance with standard city bid procedures, the
city advertised a request for bids for the purchase of two outboard
engines: and
WHEREAS, four bids were received in response to the request
for bids: and
WHEREAS, Kachemak Gear Shed submitted the low bid of
$11,420.00 for the two engines:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. The City Manager is authorized to issue a purchase
order to Kachemak Gear Shed in the amount of $11,420.00 for the
purchase of two Evinrude, 140 horsepower outboard engines.
section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the city Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 11th day of March, 1991.
