CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-041
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE IMMEDIATE
OPENING OF CITY CAMPGROUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Code provides for the opening of city public
campgrounds on May 15th: and
WHEREAS, a large number of campers and transients have arrived
in Seward and wish to utilize the city's public campgrounds: and
WHEREAS, the campground coordinator is available and ready to
begin collecting fees for the use of the campgrounds: and
WHEREAS, all sanitary facilities will be operational prior to
May 10, 1991:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to open all
pUblic campgrounds within the city limits on May 7, 1991.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 6th day of May, 1991.
