CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-043
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR STREET STRIPING
WHEREAS, a request for bids to stripe city streets was
advertised in accordance with standard city bid procedures: and
WHEREAS, Eilliam M. Knox, dba Stripes, submitted the low bid:
and
WHEREAS, funds are available for the project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. The City Manager is authorized to award a contract
to Stripes to paint traffic markings on city streets for an amount
not to exceed $11,250.00.
section 2. The city Manager is further authorized to
establish a project fund within the Street Department not to exceed
$12,375.00, including a contingency amount of $1,125.00.
section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 6th day of May, 1991.
