CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-051
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, SETTING FEES FOR CHAUFFEURS LICENSES
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 643 provides that fees for chauffeurs'
licenses are to be set by resolution of the City Council: and
WHEREAS, on April 8, 1991, the city council approved Resolu-
tion No. 91-033, setting said fees: and
WHEREAS, the state of Alaska bills the city for reviewing
fingerprint cards and performing records checks for applicants for
a chauffeur's license: and
WHEREAS, the city of Seward wishes to pass any direct costs
from the state directly to the applicant requesting a chauffeur's
license:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
section 1. The fee for the issuance of a chauffeur's license
and related costs shall be as follows:

Fingerprint cards ......................

Section 2. All direct costs from the state of Alaska or other
agencies for criminal investigation/background checks or processing
of fingerprint cards shall be borne by the applicant.
Section 3. A chauffeur's license issued by the city of Seward
shall be valid for one year from date of issue unless revoked for
cause by the city. A license may be renewed by making application
to the city.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the city council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 28th day of May, 1991.
