CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-013
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH SEWARD TOWING TO
PROVIDE TOWING AND IMPOUND SERVICES TO THE CITY
WHEREAS, a request for proposals to provide towing and impound services to the City was
properly advertised; and
WHEREAS, only one proposal was received in response to the RFP, and this proposal was
found to be acceptable by the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section}, The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Seward Towing to
provide towing of vehicles impounded by the Seward Police Department and to provide a secure
storage yard for the storage of these impounded vehicles under the terms and conditions set forth in
the proposal specifications set forth in the City's RFP.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 13th
day of January, 1997,
