RESOLUTION NO. 97-018
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO RANDY MC FARLAND FOR
PARKING MANAGEMENT SERVICES ON DESIGNATED CITY -OWNED
PROPERTIES
WHEREAS, the City of Seward has completed negotiations with Randy McFarland for
parking management services; and
WHEREAS, the Council approved Resolution No, 97-016, adopting a parking fee schedule
for designated harbor-area City-owned properties, on January 13, 1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL YED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Randy
McFarland for parking management services on designated City-owned properties as set forth in the
agreement between the City of Seward, Alaska and Randy McFarland, provided that the parking rate
scheduled adopted by Resolution No, 97-016 is amended to reflect a $25 per season parking pass for
employees working in the small boat harbor area,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 10th
day of February, 1997,
