RESOLUTION NO. 97-029
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, A WARDING A CONTRACT TO MERRITT ENTERPRISES FOR.
CUSTODIAL SERVICES AT THE A VTEC STUDENT SERVICES BUILD-
ING AND THE TEEN & YOUTH CENTER
WHEREAS, the City of Seward properly advertised a request for bids to provide custodial
services at the A VTEC Student Services Building and at the Teen & Youth Center; and
WHEREAS, two bids were received as specified in the request for bids and both have been
determined to be responsive; and
WHEREAS, Merritt Enterprises submitted the low bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1, The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
Merritt Enterprises to provide custodial services at the A VTEC Student Services Building and the
Teen & Youth Center,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 24th
day of February, 1997.
