RESOLUTION NO. 97-075
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, EXTENDING THE SPECIAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE USDA FOREST SERVICE FOR DIS-
PATCH SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Seward Police Department has provided dispatch services to
Chugach National Service Field Personnel during the time that the Forest Service Dispatchers are
off duty; and
WHEREAS, the City has received a request from the USDA Forest Service, Seward Ranger
District, Chugach National Forest, to extend the agreement through September 30, 1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Seward and the USDA
Forest Service, Seward Ranger District, Chugach National Forest, is hereby extended through
September 30, 1997,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 27 day
of May, 1997.
