CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-083
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS FROM ALP AR AND APPRO-
PRIATING FUNDS FOR A PARKS AND RECREATION YOUTH LITTER
PATROL
WHEREAS, Seward Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded a grant from
Alaskans for Litter Prevention and Recycling (ALP AR); and
WHEREAS, the grant will fund up to two youth litter patrols consisting of two adult leaders
and two part-time crews of three to five workers; and
WHEREAS, Council action is required to accept the grants and appropriate the funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The grant totaling $3,500 from ALPAR is hereby ACCEPTED and appropriated
to the ALP AR Special Project Revenue Account No. 215-2150-4680-0900,
Section 2. Funds totaling $3,500 are hereby appropriated to the ALP AR Expenditures,
Budget Account No, 215-2150-XXX as follows:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption,
