CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-091
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
A CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH MICHAEL W. MEEKS, DBA
MWM CONSULTING, FOR PROFESSIONAL COMPUTER
CONSULTING SERVICES THROUGH JUNE 30, 1998
WHEREAS, on February 15, 1995, the City entered into a professional services contract
with Michael W, Meeks, dba MWM Consulting, (the Contractor) to provide computer consulting
services to the City through June 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, on June 10, 1996, the contract was extended through June 30,1997; and
WHEREAS, this contract provides for four one-year extensions upon approval of the City
and the Contractor; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor have agreed to a one-year extension of the contract
with no revisions; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No, 2 to the
contract with MWM Consulting, extending the expiration date of the contract until June 30, 1998,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 23 day
of June, 1997,
