RESOLUTION NO. 97-108
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF THE CONTRACT WITH
DEE JOHNSON FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES THROUGH
SEPTEMBER 15, 1997
WHEREAS, The City is in the process of requesting proposals for animal control services
at the Alice Pickett Memorial Animal Shelter and in the city of Seward; and
WHEREAS, the contract with Dee Johnson formally expired June 30, 1997 leaving the City
without animal control services; and
WHEREAS, the City and the contractor have mutually agreed to extend the contract for
animal control services through September 15,1997;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The contract for animal control services at the Alice Pickett Memorial Animal
Shelter and for the city of Seward, between the City of Seward and Dee Johnson, is hereby extended
through September 15, 1997,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 14 day
of July, 1997,
