CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-143
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH DEE JOHNSON DBA
KRITTER KEEPERS FOR ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City properly advertised a request for proposals for animal control services;
and
WHEREAS, one proposal was received by the Police Department from Dee Johnson dba
Kritter Keepers; and
WHEREAS, following review of the proposal, it was found to be in compliance with all
requirements listed in the proposal specifications; and
WHEREAS, the contract provides for extension for an additioniU one-year periop by mutual
consent of the City of Seward and the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE erW COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that: '
Section 1. The contract for animal control services in the amount of 48,3"75, 'between the City
of Seward and Dee Johnson dba Kritter Keepers for a period ending June 30, 1998, is hereby
approved,
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 25 day
of August, 1997,
