CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-147
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, ACCEPTING THE MATCHING GRANT FROM THE STATE OF
ALASKA FOR THE HARBOR PLAZA RENOVATION PROJECT AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City received a grant from the State of Alaska to renovate the harbor plaza;
and
WHEREAS, the State's share of the funding is $50,000 and the City's contribution totals
$9,382; and
WHEREAS, the funding will enable the city to complete the basic concept design of the
harbor plaza;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The Harbor Plaza Renovation Project grant #98/668-9-001 is hereby accepted
from the State of Alaska,
Section 2. Funds totaling $59,382 for the Harbor Plaza Renovation Project are hereby
appropriated and the budget is established for project No, 314-3140 as follows:
Revenues:

Harbor funds, Account No, 401-0000-3070-0314

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption,
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 25 day
of August, 1997,
