CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-148
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITIES
AGREEMENT TO ACKNOWLEDGE COMPLETION OF THE X-FLOAT
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the design and construction for the replacement of the main transient X Float
in the Seward Small Boat Harbor has been completed; and
WHEREAS, the structure was inspected and approved by the coastal engineers from the
State Department of Transportation and Public Facilities; and
WHEREAS, in order to close out the project, the City and the State need to execute
Amendment No, I to the TORA for the Seward Harbor X Float Replacement, Project, No, 51379;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF, THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Amendment No, I to the Transfer of Responsibilities Agreemerit between the City
of Seward and the State of Alaska, is hereby approved to acknowledge completion of the X-Float
replacement project.
Section 2. The city manager is hereby authorized to execute the amendment to the TORA
to close out the project.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 25 day
of August, 1997,
