CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-071
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, APPROPRIATING FUNDS TO COVER
THE CITY PORTION OF COSTS OF THE 1986 FLOOD
WHEREAS, the Special Revenue Fund No. 213, 1986 Flood, was
reviewed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency; and
WHEREAS, Price Waterhouse, the auditors for the city of Seward
for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1989, made an estimated
reduction of $186,515 in the Federal/State portion of the revenues
for Fund 213; and
WHEREAS, the city of Seward needs to pay its portion of the
expenses of Fund 213, 1986 Flood;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of One Hundred Eighty Six Thousand, Five
Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($186,515) is hereby transferred from the
General Fund Balance Transfer Account No. 101-0000-3070 to the 1986
Flood Fund 213 Special Project Account No. 213-2130-4680-0300.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 25th day of June, 1990.
