CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 90-074
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, SETTING THE SALARY FOR THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, Linda S. Murphy was appointed city clerk of the city
of Seward in February 1982; and
WHEREAS, on June 23, 1986, the City Council adopted Resolution
NO. 86-067, approving an employment agreement between the city and
Murphy; and
WHEREAS, on June 27, 1988, the City Council amended this
employment agreement to reflect a salary increase for the City
Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to once again amend that
section of said employment agreement which sets the salary of the
City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. Paragraph 2 of the Employment Agreement, attached
and incorporated as a part of Resolution No. 86-067, is hereby
amended by setting the annual salary of the city clerk at $47,000.
Section 2. All prior resolutions in conflict herewith are
hereby rescinded.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect July 1, 1990.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 9th day of July, 1990.
