CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-079
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING DRYDEN & LARUE
TO PROCEED WITH TASK ORDER NO. 3 OF THE CONTRACT
TO DESIGN THE TRANSMISSION LINE FROM LAWING
TO FT. RAYMOND SUBSTATION
WHEREAS, the Council previously approved Resolution No. 90-
112, awarding a contract to Dryden & Larue, Inc., to design a 115
KV transmission line from Lawing to Seward; and
WHEREAS, the total
estimated to be $478,585,
construction and materials
line; and
cost of this service was previously
or six percent of the total cost of
necessary to complete the transmission
WHEREAS, Dryden & Larue, Inc., have substantially completed
Task Order No. 1 which was approved on september 24, 1991; and
WHEREAS, work on Task Order No.2, approved on May 13, 1991,
is currently in progress; and
WHEREAS, the contractor is now ready to proceed with Task
Order No.3;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to issue to Dryden
& Larue, Inc., a Notice to Proceed with Task Order No.3, for an
estimated cost of $32,880.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 24th day of June, 1991.
