CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-084
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 1991
STATE JAIL CONTRACT THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 1991
WHEREAS, the state of Alaska Department of Public Safety has
requested a three-month extension of the Fiscal Year 1991 Jail
Contract through September 30, 1991, under existing terms and
conditions; and
WHEREAS, the time extension will enable the Department of
Public Safety to complete budget analyses and to formalize a new
agreement with the city of Seward;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
an amendment to the Fiscal Year 1991 State Jail Contract extending
the term through September 30, 1991.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 8th day of July, 1991.
