CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 96-117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ACCEPTING A GRANT AND APPROPRIATING
FUNDS FOR THE ALPAR LITTER PATROL PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Seward Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded grants from
Alaskans for Litter Prevention and Recycling (ALP AR) and the Kenai Peninsula Borough totaling
$3,800 to fund the 1996 litter patrol program; and
WHEREAS, these grants must be accepted by resolution of the Council and the funds must
be appropriated into the City's General Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. A grant totaling $1,800 from the Alaskans for Litter Prevention and Recycling
and a grant totaling $2,000 from the Kenai Peninsula Borough are hereby ACCEPTED to ALP AR
Special Project Revenue Account No. 215-2153-4680-0900.
Section 2. The sum of $3,800 is hereby appropriated from the ALPAR Special Project
Revenue Account No. 215-2153-4680-0900 to ALPAR Expenditures Account No. 21 5-21 53-XXXX
as follows:

Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
