CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
PRISON ROOF REPAIR
WHEREAS, the city of Seward advertised for proposals to repair
the roof at the Spring Creek Correctional Center; and
WHEREAS, only one proposal was received; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation and Public Facili-
ties Chief of Buildings, Design and Construction has reviewed the
proposal and recommends that the city award a contract to the
proposer; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for the contract within the SCCC
construction budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a
contract to International Steel Erectors for an amount not to
exceed $35,000 for repair of the roof at Spring Creek Correctional
Center.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 9th day of September, 1991.
