CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, EXTENDING THE METER READING
CONTRACT FOR ONE YEAR
WHEREAS, on October 11, 1990, the city of Seward entered into
an agreement with Seward Aluminum Fabrication and Welding to
provide meter reading services for a one-year period through
September 30, 1991; and
WHEREAS, the agreement provides that the city may extend the
agreement for a one-year period; and
WHEREAS, the city and the contractor both desire to continue
this contractual relationship for an additional one year term under
the terms and conditions of the original agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
Amendment No. 1 to the agreement with Seward Aluminum Fabrication
and Welding to provide meter reading services for the city,
extending the agreement for an additional one year term through
September 30, 1992. A copy of the amendment is attached and
incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 23rd day of September, 1991.
