CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 91-143
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF A VEHICLE FOR THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council included funds in the Fiscal Year
1992 budget for the purchase of a new vehicle for the Electric
Department; and
WHEREAS, the city properly advertised an invitation to bid and
received four responses to its RFP; and
WHEREAS, after adjusting for the local bidder preference
provided in the City Code, Hutchings Chevrolet appears to be the
low bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:

Section 1. The City Manager is hereby author~ed to issue a
purchase order in the amount of $20,002.39 to Hutchihgs Chevrolet
for the purchase of a K Blazer for the Electric Department.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward,
Alaska, this 25th day of November, 1991.
