CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 446
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO FIRE PREVENTION,
REPEALING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 11-1
OF THE SEWARD CITY CODE
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 11-1 of the Seward City Code is hereby
repealed and re-enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 11-1. Fire Prevention Code Adopted.

The Fire Prevention Code, 1976 Edition, recommended
by the American Insurance Association, is hereby designated
and shall be known as the Fire Prevention Code of the City,
and shall constitute the laws of the City relating to fire
safety regulations. Although not printed in full in this
chapter, all of the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code
shall be and are hereby adopted by reference to the same
extent as if set forth in full herein, except to the extent
that the Fire Prevention Code shall be in conflict with the
provisions of this chapter, in which case the provisions
of this Code shall prevail.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect 10 days after
enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 27th day of February , 1978.
