ORDINANCE NO. 452
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE SMALL BOAT HARBOR,
AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE SECTION 5-45 - SEAPLANES
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 5-45 of the Seward City Code of Ordinances
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 5-45. Seaplanes.
Seaplanes may be granted slip privileges in the harbor
only when the granting of such slip would not preclude a vessel
desiring moorage from tying to the float system. Seaplanes will
not be granted slip privileges in the harbor during the time
period from June 1 through September 30 except at the seaplane
float.
While seaplanes are provided slips within the confines
of the harbor, they shall be under the jurisdiction of the Harbor
Master and shall abide by all the applicable rules and regulations
as set forth for vessels in the City Code.
The fees for providing slips for seaplanes shall be set
by resolution of the Seward City Council.
Section 2. This ordinance takes effect ten days after enactment.

21st day of February , 1978.
