CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 453
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING ELECTRICITY,
AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE SECTION 9-5.
CONNECTION AND RECONNECTION CHARGES
THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 9-5 of the Seward City Code of Ordinances is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 9-5. Connection and reconnection charges.
Prior to the extension of service to any consumer, there
shall be paid over to the City electric system a connection
charge in the amount of ten dollars ($10); except, that where
such connection is made in the nature of a reconnection where
service was discontinued for reason of delinquent payment of
monthly bills, as hereinafter provided, there shall be paid
over to the electric system the sum of twenty dollars ($20)
for such reconnect ion.
Section 2. This ordinance takes effect 10 days after enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
21st day of February , 1978.
