ORDINANCE NO.
475
An ordinance of the City of Seward, Alaska, providing for the
assumption of housing and urban development powers.
Be it enacted by the City Council of the City of Seward
SECTION 1:
This is a code ordinance.
SECTION 2:
Housing and urban development powers are hereby adopted and
assumed by the City of Seward, Alaska, and made a matter of
record by this enactment.
SECTION 3:
Housing and urban development powers are limited to:
Development of a senior citizens housing project.
SECTION 4:
The City Manager of the City of Seward, is authorized to
enter into such contracts and agreements necessary to implement
and carry out the powers assumed in Sections 2 and 3 above.
SECTION 5:
This ordinance becomes effective ten (10) days following
enac tmen t .

First Reading June 11, 1979
Public Hearing June 25, 1979
ADOPTED by a duly constituted quorum of the City Council
of the City of Seward, Alaska this
