RESOLUTION 98-091
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT A
$29,980.00 MUNICIPAL MATCHING GRANT FOR 911 EQUIPMENT
REPLACEMENT FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA AND APPROPRIATE
FUNDS
WHEREAS, at the September 22, 1997 City Council meeting Resolution 97-160 was
passed, approving a grant request to replace some of the City's 911 equipment; and
WHEREAS, the grant request has been approved by the State; and

WHEREAS, the City Council will need to formally accept the .Want and appropriate the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the City Manager to accept the Municipal Matching
Grant for 911 Equipment Replacement from the State of Alaska in the amount of$29,980.00.
Section 2. The City Council appropriates $35,606.00 to the 911 Equipment Replacement
Capital Projects Fund, account no. 651-6510-5XXX of which $29,980.00 is appropriated from the
State of Alaska Grant Revenues, account no. 651-6510-4680-0200 and $5,626.00 which was
previously appropriated in the FY 99 budget from the General Fund.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council ofthe city of Seward, Alaska, this 27th
day of July 1998.
