RESOLUTION NO. 98-093
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT A
$32,274.00 MUNICIPAL MATCHING GRANT FOR CAMPGROUND ADA
AND UTILITY SITES FROM THE STATE OF ALASKA AND APPROPRI-
ATE PROJECT FUNDS
WHEREAS, at the September 22, 1997, City Council meeting Resolution 97-160 was
passed approving a grant request to install and improve Campground ADA and utility sites; and
WHEREAS, the grant request was approved by the State; and
WHEREAS, the City Council needs to formally accept the grant and appropriate the project
funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The City Council approves Resolution 98-093, accepting the Municipal Matching
Grant for Campground ADA and Utility Sites from the State of Alaska in the amount of $32,274.
Section 2. The City Council appropriates $38,330 to the Campground Improvements Capital
Projects Fund, account no. 283-2831-5XXX of which $32,274 is appropriated from State of Alaska
Grant Revenues, account no. 283-2831-4680-0200 and $6,056 which was previously appropriated
in the FY 99 budget from the General Fund.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, this 27th
day of July, 1998.
