CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 525
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
AMENDING SECTIONS 22.40.220, 22.40.300, and
22.60.010 OF THE SEWARD CITY CODE.
THE CITY OF SEWARD ORDAINS:
Section 1. That the term "mobile home courts" wherever it
appears in sections 22.40.220 and 22.40.300 be replaced by the
term "mobile home parks."
Section 2. That the definitions of "mobile home" and "mobile
home court" in Section 22.60.010 of the Seward City Code are
hereby amended to read as follows:
"Mobile home" means manufactured housing, as defined in
section 21.10.010 of this Code, built on a chassis and/or in
accordance with Department of Housing and Urban Development
standards contained in Code of Federal Regulations Title 24,
Chapter 20. A mobile home shall be construed to remain a mobile
home, subject to all regulations applying thereto, whether or not
wheels, axles, hitch, or other appurtenances of mobility are
removed and regardless of the nature of the foundation required.
"Mobile home park" means any parcel, or adjacent parcels of
land in the same ownership, which is used for occupancy by two or
more mobile homes. The term does not include camper parks as
defined in Section 21.10.010 of this Code.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective
following enactment.
