ORDINANCE NO. 556
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SECTION 17-13.4(b) OF THE CITY
CODE REIATIVE ill MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT FOR TRAVEL ON CITY BUSINESS
that:
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, HEREBY ORDAINS
Section 1. Section 17-3.4 (b) of the Seward City Code is
hereby arrended to read as follows:
Sec. 17-13.4 (b). Travel on official business
outside the city should be via public carrier or
city owned vehicle. If an errployee is authorized to
use a private vehicle, mileage shall be paid at the
legally allowable rate as established by the Inter-
nal Revenue Service. This rate includes all travel,
insurance and depreciation expense of the vehicle
but does not include storage or parking expenses.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days
following enactrrent.
