ORDINANCE NO. 572
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, REPEALING AND RE-ENAcrING SECI'ION 17-10.9
OF THE SEWARD CITY CODE RElATIVE TO ANNUAL LEAVE
NCW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Section 17-10.9 of the Seward City Code is hereby
repealed and re-enacted to read as follcws:
Section 17-10. 9. Cash-in-lieu-of annual leave. In
documented cases of unforeseen financial energen-
cies, =nsistent with city policies of deferred
COITpensation cash-in, the city manager may authorize
the city to purchase an employee I s accrued annual
leave at his/her current rate of pay, provided that
in no case shall a cash-in be allowed to reduce an
employee's accrued annual leave belcw 80 hours.
Section 2. THis ordinance shall take effect ten days follcw-
ing enactrrent.
