ORDINANCE NO. 585
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SECTION 14-72 OF THE CITY CODE
RELATIVE TO PARKING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, HEREBY
ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Section 14-72 of the Seward City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 14-72. Parking not to obstruct
traffic. (a) No person shall park any
vehicle upon a street or highway, other
than an alley, in such a manner or under
such conditions as to leave available
less than ten feet from the center line
of such roadway for the free movement of
vehicular traffic.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any person
to park or cause to be parked any motor
vehicle in such a position as would
block the way of vehicular traffic in
any public parking lot.
Section 2. This ordinance takes effect ten (10) days
following enactment.
