AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

family), Bovidae (cattle, goats, sheep family),
Camelidae (llam family), Leporidae (rabbit fami-
ly), and poult
Chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks,
pheasants.
Section 2 Chapter 4 of the Seward City Code is hereby
amended by ad ing the following new sections:
-8. Maintenance and sanitation. A person
ns an animal shall mainta~n all structures,
and yards where he keeps the animal, and all
s adj acent thereto, in a clean and sanitary
dition and free from objectionable odor.
4-9. Animals near streets. No person may
tie or otherwise confine an animal within a
street, sidewalk, alley or public place or in such / ' f

a manner that the animal may enter a street,
sidewalk, alley or public place.
Sec. 4-10. Livestock. No person may keep live-
stock within the city of Seward except on private
property with a platted size of one (1) acre or
more.
Section 3. Newly enacted Section 4-10 of the Seward
City Code shall not apply to livestock present within the
Seward city limits prior to enactment of this ordinance.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10)
days following enactment.
