AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA REGARDING THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVE
AMENDING SECTION 3-8 OF THE SEWARD CITY CODE
WHEREAS, AS 04.16.010 provides that

beverages shall be between the hours of 5:00 a

WHEREAS, AS 04.16.010 (d) and AS 29.3 .080 provide that a
municipality may provide additional reg at ions on the sale,
service and consumption of alcoholic bev ages; and
WHEREAS, based upon powers by the state, the
Seward City Council previously ext ded the standard closing
hours of licensed premises to inclu e the hours of 5:00 a.m. to
12:00 Noon on Sundays; and
WHEREAS, the Seward Council wishes to
responsive to special public events and petitions
