CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 608
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SECTION 10-21(C) OF
THE CITY CODE, AUTHORIZED INVESTMENTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, HEREBY
ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Section 10-21(c)(5) of the Seward City Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
(5) Certificates of deposit in a bank,
provided that, if at any time the city shall have
on deposit in anyone bank an amount in excess of
the limits of federal insurance, including all
principal and accrued interest, then such amounts
which exceed the limits of federal insurance shall
be secured as provided in Section 10-21(d) of this
code;
Section 2. Section 10-21(c)(7) of the Seward City Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
(7) Federally insured deposits in banks.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10)
days following its enactment.
