CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 641
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, REVISING CHAPTER 15.10, ARTICLE 4,
REGARDING APPEAL PROCEDURES TO THE SEWARD ZONING CODE
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to revise a portion of
the Seward Zoning Code Appeal Procedures to conform to the Alaska
Rules of Court language for appellant hearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Section 15.10.430 B. of the Seward City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
15.10.430 Findinas and conclusions. B. The
findings of fact and conclusions of law shall
reference specific evidence in the record and
the controlling sections of this chapter. The
Board of Adjustment may affirm, modify,
vacate, set aside or reverse any decision
brought before it for review, and may remand
the case and direct the entry of such
appropriate order, or require further
proceedings to be had as may be just under the
circumstances.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days
following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 14th day of January, 1991.
