CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 651
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, DELETING SEWARD CITY CODE
~ 2.05.030 F., EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Seward, Alaska, has
established a procedure for the accommodation of the competing
interest present in the public records context; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has become convinced that the risks
posed by the "executive privilege" portion of Ordinance No. 642
outweigh the public interest sought to be protected by those
provisions;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Subsection F. of Seward City Code ~ 2.05.030 is
hereby DELETED.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days
following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 8th day of July, 1991.
