CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 664
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SCC ~ 15.10.225, LAND
USES ALLOWED, TO PERMIT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES
IN THE AUTO COMMERCIAL ZONE
WHEREAS, certain property along Ballaine Boulevard is
currently zoned Auto Commercial (AC); and
WHEREAS, some of the subject lots contain single family
residences and others are suitable for single family structures;
and
WHEREAS, the Auto Commercial Zone currently does not allow the
construction of single family residences; and
WHEREAS, the subj ect property is designated Multi-Family
Residential in the city's Land Use Plan, and this designation does
allow the construction of single family residences; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the public interest to allow single
family residences in the Auto Commercial Zone;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code ~ 15.10.225 is hereby amended to
allow outright single family residences in the Auto Commercial
Zone.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days
following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA,
this 25th day of November, 1991.
