CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
RESOLUTION NO. 98-107
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA, APPROVING STATE REVENUE SHARING MONIES FOR THE
HEALTH FACILITIES WITHIN THE CITY OF SEWARD
WHEREAS, the Alaska Revenue Sharing Program provides operating funds to qualified
municipalities each fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, a portion ofthe funds provided under this program are restricted to health care
services provided in the community; and
WHEREAS, before these funds can be distributed to the various health care facilities in the
City, the Council must make the necessary appropriations and approve the transfer of the funds as
required by the City Code and Charter;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, that:
Section 1. The sum of $117,418 is hereby appropriated from the State Revenue Sharing
Funds, Account 101-0-4350-0141, to the following accounts:

Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to transfer funds to the health care
facilities listed above in the amounts specified in Section 1. herein.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Seward, Alaska, this 14th
day of September, 1998.
