CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 92-10
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, DELETING ~ 15.10.310, CONTRACT
ZONING, FROM TITLE 15 OF THE SEWARD CITY CODE
WHEREAS, at one time Alaska Statutes, Title 29, specifically provided for contract
zoning as a land management tool; and
WHEREAS, the 1986 revision of Title 29 did not include a contract zoning
provision; and
WHEREAS, Seward City Code ~ 15.10.310 contains provisions for contract zoning
within the city of Seward; and
WHEREAS, the city no longer has the authority to allow contract zoning;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code Section 15.10.310 is hereby DELETED.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
11th day of May, 1992.
