CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 92-17
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING f 2.10.055, REGARDING
THE SUBMISSION OF AGENDA MATERIALS TO THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, in an effort to better inform the citizens of Seward, the City Clerk has
contracted with the Seward Phoenix Lo~ to advertise all agendas of the city, all public
hearings and other notices in a weekly one-half page newspaper ad; and
WHEREAS, in order to meet the agreed upon newspaper deadline for submission
of items to the newspaper, it is necessary to close the agenda one day earlier than
currently allowed under the City Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:

Section 1. Section S.10.if.E C. of the Seward City Code is hereby amended by
substituting the word "Tuesday" for the word "Wednesday".
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
10th day of August, 1992.
