AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THlt' CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, CREATING SEWARD CIJY CODE

WHEREAS, during the FY 1994 budget process, the S~ard City Council budgeted
revenues totalling $76,500 to be derived from paid parking; and
I
/
WHEREAS, the City Council held meetings and;Work sessions to solicit input from
the public; and /
/
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to i~lement paid parking and set parking
fees by resolution; I
/
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY jOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that: I

Section 1. Seward City Code S/11.15.130 is hereby created to read as follows:

11.15.130 Paid parking. The c~yf; may provide for the operation of paid parking lots
and may set fees for parkin ' on city-owned property or city rights-of-way by
resolution of the city coun . .
Section 2. This ordi nce shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
