CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 94-18
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, CREATING SEWARD CITY CODE
f 11.15.130, PAID PARKING
WHEREAS, although it is not the intent of the City Council to implement paid
parking at this time, the Council desires to provide a mechanism for such implementation
within the City Codei
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code ~ 11.15.130 is hereby created to read as follows:
11.15.130 Paid parking. The city may provide for the operation of paid parking lots
and may set fees for parking on city-owned property or city rights-of-way by
resolution of the city council.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
29th day of March, 1994.
