ORDINANCE NO. 94-29
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING THE SEWARD ZONING MAPS
BY REZONING LOT lA ENNIS ADDmON TO FEDERAL ADDmON,
LOT 2, BLOCK 2, FEDERAL ADDmON AND LOTS lA-14,
BLOCK 3, LAUBNER ADDmON FROM Rl TO UR;
AND LOT 4, JESSE LEE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION ADDmON NO.2
FROM AC TO R3 TO BRING DESIGNATED PROPERTIES
INTO CONFORMANCE WITH THE LAND USE PLAN
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 665 amended the Land Use Plan of the city of Seward to
create an Urban Residential Land Use and Zoning District designation to allow for an area of
high density mixed residential and professional home office uses in the area surrounding the
downtown business district; and
. WHEREAS, zoning is a tool to implement the Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, the proposed zoning amendments generally reflect community development
direction, bring zoning into conformance with the Land Use Plan and provide for additional
flexibility for land uses;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. The official city zoning map is amended to read as follows:

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
