CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 94-48
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE
CHAPTER 2.30, ARTICLE 100, COMMUNITY HOSPITAL BOARD
WHEREAS, on October 4, 1994, the voters of the City of Seward, Alaska, approved a
proposition setting forth the powers the City Council could delegate to the community hospital
board; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the City Code to provide contracting
powers to the community hospital board as authorized by the Charter;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. A new Section 2.30.137 of the Seward City Code is hereby created to read
as follows:
2.30.137 Contracts.
Contracts related to public health facilities shall be authorized by the
board and executed on behalf of the city by a person designated by the board.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
12th day of December, 1994.
