CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA
ORDINANCE NO. 94-52
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SEWARD, ALASKA, AMENDING SEWARD CITY CODE
SECTION 5.20.055, RECEIPTS FROM SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, the city council wishes to amend the City Code to conform to City Charter
revisions approved by the voters of the City of Seward, Alaska, on October 4, 1994;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD,
ALASKA HEREBY ORDAINS that:
Section 1. Seward City Code S 5.20.055 is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:
5.20.055 Receivts from Svecial Assessments.
Accounts for special assessment rolls shall be created and maintained in
accordance with generally accepted governmental accounting principles. Moneys
collected from special assessments shall be used solely to pay the cost of the
improvements to which they apply and to the principal of and interest on
indebtedness to the city.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days following its enactment.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA, this
12th day of December, 1994.
