TtJ..t; S,f:!;WARD Cl."rY CUUNCIL CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA ORDINANCE NO. 392 AN ORDINANCE CREATING SECTIONS 6-3 AND 6-4 OF THE SEWARD CODE OF ORDINANCES PROHIBITING TIMBER PILING, POSTS OR PIERS AND REQUIRING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR CONSTRUcrION IN CERTAIN AREAS. THE CITY OF SEWARD, ALASKA ORDAINS: Section 1. That Section 6-3 is hereby created to read as follows: Section 6-3. Timber Piling, Posts or Piers Prohibited. Construction of structures on timber piling, posts or piers as the sole structral support, except for docks or wharves, is prohibited. Section 2. That Section 6-4 is hereby created to read as follows: Section 6-4. Special Use Permit Required. Any structure built on ground below 17' above Mean rower-row water requires a special use permit. Section 3. This Ordinance takes effect immediately upon passage and approval.
